The Story
It has been a long road for Shaman's Harvest filled with moments of triumph alongside challenges that few bands have the strength to overcome. Now back with a record that exhibits their strongest, most meaningful recordings to date. Red Hands Black Deeds is Shaman's Harvest 2nd album for Mascot Records and the follow-up of the succesful Smokin' Hearts & Broken Guns. 13 brand new tracks that are ready to hit the airwaves.
With Keith Armstrong behind the boards, Shamanâs Harvest decidedly wanted a more organic, analog sound for their sixth record. âWe used analog effects pedals and vintage amps. This is the first record that we went with this approach. It was kind of like trying to find the melting point between midwest and L.A. It still has the Shamanâs Harvest midwest vibe to it, but it definitely has organic L.A. written all over it.â
Singer Nathan Hunt shares, âThis past year has been a year of firsts for Shamanâs Harvest and thatâs great and all, but we are only lookinâ forward...resting on our accomplishments makes us fat ân lazy. If thereâs one thing rock ân roll doesnât need it is complacency.â
